Student Placements
Slaithwaite Health Centre are proud to be linked with the University of Bradford and the University of Sunderland. We have had successful placements of Year 3 medical students and PA (physician associate) students in the practice. The understanding and co-operation of patients has been appreciated and very positive.
You should always be made aware at the time of booking your appointment if any student is timetabled to be with your GP or nurse and given the option for them not to be present. This is completely understandable at all times.
Other Health Professional Training
